Full Lifecycle outsourced software development, including requirements, design, specification, coding, testing and production support for Verizon data and IP Billing, Ordering Payments and Web Customer Care systems.

Method

Focus assembled a team of more than 20 skilled software analysts, developers and testers led by an experienced project manager, all with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Focus established procedures for coordinating the analysis and development work between the different locations based on proven best practices and project management tools. Focus’ systems processed more than 650 million records monthly and billing of over $360 million in yearly revenue. Focus provided support to the conversion teams and executed all pre and post conversion tasks.

Results

As a result of Focus’ work, Verizon has significantly reduced the time-to market of software releases while improving the overall quality of the product and achieving an annual estimated $12 million material cost savings.
